Week of March 5, 2012

Herlihy Mid-Continent again mobilized their subcontractor to finish the remaining tree removal on the east side of the Fox River, along the Red Gate Road corridor.  The tree removal subcontractor (Homer Tree Service) worked on Friday, March 2 and should be completed early this week.

Also this week, Herlihy will continue their construction of the temporary haul road access to the east side of the river.  Then they will start with their construction of the temporary causeway, in the Fox River, along the eastern bank.  This work should take about two weeks to complete.  On Thursday March 1st the City received authorization from the United States Army Corps of Engineers to perform the work within the Fox River.
